Samaritan was born out of a vision placed in Mr. C's heart. He won't be alone though — Samaritan is engaged in putting together the right clinical team to complete this vision. We'll update this page as our new team members come on board.

Meet "Mr. C"
Wouter Ceyssens, MCG Graduate Physician Assistant
15 years experience in Pediatrics in Augusta, with additional experience in Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat specialty.
He's 20 years happily married to his wife Anna, and with their 7 children, they attend St. Joseph Catholic Church. In his free time, he coaches, does youth ministry, and enjoys all things nature such as Hunting, Skiing, and Kayaking.
Unsatisfied with the state of insurance-based managed care, Mr. C felt called to leave ownership of a large local peds practice in 2025. Now, while working in Pediatric ENT, he still dreams of a way to do life-giving primary care pediatrics. This is where Samaritan Direct Pediatrics was born — a DPC-style clinic, now in an interest-gathering phase, while we also form our clinician team.
